Volunteers Needed


The Prince George Airport is looking for Airport Ambassadors to join our team.

As an airport ambassador you will be welcoming arriving travelers, assisting meeters and greeters as well as providing direction and information. The ambassador team is also responsible for ensuring the tourism information booth is stocked up on brochures. Hours are flexible and parking is provided during your shift. The Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum is looking for volunteers for their Halloween event.

Put on your costumes and join us for a family-friendly-frightfully-spooky Halloween scare! October 19th and 26th 11 AM to 3 PM! And as the sky grows dark and the moon glows bright, strange creatures and conductors appear in the night, as the whistle blows and the passengers whine, our tour to “The FINAL STOP” sends a chill up your spine! October 19th and 26th 5 PM to 9 PM! Tours start every half an hour. Board the Cottonwood Ghost-Train, indulge in Bone-Dogs and Witches’ Brew, hang around for a spell and enter the Sleeper Cars if you dare! Admission to our Halloween events on October 19th and 26th will be FREE with a non-perishable food item donation to St. Vincent de Paul’s Food Bank. Concession and Minirail Train Rides for purchase. Community Association Seeks Ice Captain for Foothills Ice Rink!

Please pm me if you live near Foothills Elementary and would be willing to flood and run the ice rink for us. We did not have any volunteers (or water) last year, but we’re good to go this year with a new water source. We still need ice captains though!
