General Description
Reaching out to children and families with hearing challenges in northern BC. We offer networking, socialization, and education: workshops, sports workshops, ASL lessons for parents & children; social events – Christmas party, BBQ, Adventure Camp at Ness Lake in Sept; Play Learn Share Grow social group meets monthly at a different venue; Resources library of DVD’s, children’s books and baby signing books; monthly newsletter; Facebook page.
Register by Jan 6th for American Sign Language & Deaf Education classes starting in January on Wednesdays from Jan 25th to June 7th at the Learning Assistance Resource Centre at St. Mary’s School – 1088 Gillett St, Prince George.

The Learning Circle Literacy Program is currently seeking volunteer tutors, to provide tutoring support to adults, with a focus on computer literacy and financial literacy.

General Description
20/20 is not Enough for Reading – a 20 min consultation will do a preliminary screening for your child addressing reading, writing and behavioral symptoms of learning problems. The program adapts to adult learners as well.
