URGENTLY NEEDED: Volunteers to help facilitate “Minds in Motion” (Thurs 09:45 – 11:45am ), a fitness and social program designed for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia and a friend, family member or care partner. College and university students welcome to apply!
BC Angel Dresses has a serious need for volunteer seamstresses and dress collectors in the Prince George area. We collect donated dresses and transform them into suits and dresses for little ones that don’t make it home from the hospital or are taken far too soon. These dresses are given to families at no charge for their angels’ farewell.
Volunteers needed for fundraising (raffles, bazaars, and bake sales), leadership training, and serving on boards. Our organization provides monetary support for non-profit groups and individuals within the City.
Connecting Communities is committed to creating positive social change at the community level. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join our fun projects, such as litter clean-ups, tree plantings, and contributing to community gardens.
