This wonderful 160 acre park offers interconnecting loops from 10 minutes to one hour of easy walking on well-maintained trails.
Educational signs along the way explain interesting facts about botany, flora and some local history.
The Interpretive Centre has over 2000 plant species and 3000 habitat photos of native trees, shrubs and wild flowers from the provinces and original arctic territories of Canada.
The gift and souvenir shop sells original photos by Jim Good, focusing on
Canada’s scenic views and native wild flowers. Original recordings taken on location are also available, including songbirds, rain showers, thunderstorms an gentle flowing streams.
The beaver pond is home to beaver, muskrat, moose and waterfowl with trails nearby. There is also a great variety of songbirds and other bird species throughout the park.
