Volunteer Description

Ride Don’t Hide is a chance to connect – to our own mental health, to each other, and to our community. Ride Don’t Hide raises the critical funds for CMHA programs and services that support, protect, and celebrate mental health. We are looking for volunteers to help with the kickoff event! Come support the mental health of our community and help us bring mental health out into the open.

In 2022, Ride Don’t Hide will consist of a virtual event lasting throughout the month of June and an in-person kickoff event on May 28th. For the kickoff, we will be closing off the block of 3rd Avenue in Prince George in front of our office (between Dominion St. and George St.). The event will feature live music, speakers and ambassadors talking about mental health, booths of local community organizations, food by donation from Two Rivers Catering, activities, prizes, and more. Following the kickoff, we will be encouraging participants to exercise for their own mental health, while raising money to support the mental health of those in their community. Fundraising and activity tracking can be done at ridedonthide.com/event/northernbc.
