As the first impression of our city and region, the Ambassador team takes great pride in welcoming arriving travelers, assisting meeters and greeters as well as providing direction and information. Volunteers are needed for the information desk. Hours are flexible.
URGENTLY NEEDED: Volunteers to help facilitate “Minds in Motion” (Thurs 09:45 – 11:45am ), a fitness and social program designed for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia and a friend, family member or care partner. College and university students welcome to apply!
Social group for adults age 17 and over with Asperger's. Plans are for the group to meet at least twice monthly for informal and fun activities; to help adults with Asperger's make new friends, share stories and improve social skills.

BC Angel Dresses has a serious need for volunteer seamstresses and dress collectors in the Prince George area. We collect donated dresses and transform them into suits and dresses for little ones that don't make it home from the hospital or are taken far too soon. These dresses are given to families at no charge for their angels’ farewell.
The BC Seniors Advocate’s Residential Care Survey Project needs more volunteers in the northern region to help us achieve the goal of inviting the over 1000 residents who live in long term care facilities in the northern health regions to participate in a structured interview asking them about their experiences in their facilities.
In School Mentoring Program- provides girls & boys with an adult role model and a friend to talk with and share the experiences of growing up with. One hour/wk, mentors meet with kids one-on-one, on school property, and engage in activities such as board games, crafts, sports and baking.
