Enhance PG Good Neighbour Certificate of Appreciation  Ongoing

PG Citizen Volunteer of the Week  Weekly

The Prince George Citizen features a Volunteer of the Week in the Citizen Extra, which goes to each household every Thursday.  We are looking for those truly unsung heroes that have never been acknowledged for their volunteer efforts in the newspaper before, either through a photograph or a story, so that we may showcase those who do their good work quietly behind the scenes to make this community what it is – the volunteer city. PG Citizen of the Year  Fall 2017

Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers  Ongoing

The Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers (formerly the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award) recognizes the exceptional volunteer achievements of Canadians from across the country in a wide range of fields.  Nominations accepted ongoing basis. Unsung Heroes of Northern BC  Dec 31, 2016

The Unsung Heroes of Northern BC is NOW accepting nominations until December 31, 2016.  The goal is to find real life heroes and encourage others to follow in their footsteps.  A recognition event will be held on Feb 4th at 6pm at the Coast Inn of the North.    Ravi Saxena at 250-981-3107 for information on next year’s drive!
