Volunteer Prince George is excited to offer a series of workshops designed to provide basic board training for volunteers serving our community. These workshops will be facilitated by local experts who have extensive board experience and knowledge of topics relevant to the day-to-day operations of a non-profit organization.
Developing a strong board is one of the most important actions an organization can take to maintain consistency in services, as well as achieving strategic and long-term goals. Board development is also essential to upholding the governance, objectivity and accountability of an organization.
